Welcome to the annual list of Black Friday Freebies 2019. Although this post is initially published early in November, it will be updated frequently as more freebies are discovered. Read more about Black Friday Freebies and check out the list from last year for reference. Do you know of a freebie that is not on the list yet? Please help out by submitting it by email.

Black Friday, Black Week or Black Month?

Some retailers, most notably Amazon, will start a “Black Friday” sale as early as the first week of November. So some may call the entire month of November “black month”. However, while these retailers may use “Black Friday” in their marketing copy, it may still be prudent to be patient. The better deals will still probably happen the week of Thanksgiving. And unfortunately for those who love the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s the entire week of Thanksgiving, not just the day after. Some of the best offers may happen on the Monday before Thanksgiving, some may happen the day before, some may happen the day of, as well as the Friday and Saturday after.

$1 Million in gift cards giveaway

Thursday at 4 pm at least 200 gift cards ranging from $5 to $500 given away. One $500 winner per store.

Friday at 5 am at least 100 gift cards ranging from $5 to $500 given away.

Big Lots

Free 20 oz Coke or Pepsi product for Big Lots rewards members. Rewards members can scan rewards card or enter phone number on rewards account to have 100% discount applied at checkout. A Friday freebie is a frequent offer for Big Lots rewards members, this one happens to be available on Black Friday.

JC Penney

Coupons handed out before doors open at 2 pm Thursday. $500 off $500 or more, $100 off $100 or more, $10 off $10 or more. See page 1 and page 47 of their ad. Combine coupon with rebate offers in their ad for additional savings. Ex. Receive $10 of $10 or more coupon at the door. Kitchen appliance is normally $70, on sale for $21.99 on black friday with a $14 mail in rebate. ($70 – $48.01 on sale discount – $14 mail in rebate – $10 coupon = -$2.01, that’s negative $2.01, meaning you could possibly get paid $2 to buy a $70 kitchen appliance, but read the fine print because coupon or rebate exclusions could prevent this).

Lowe’s

Previous years this was a gift card giveaway at the door. This will be updated as soon as we know more. UPDATE: This was not a freebie or door giveaway but it was a good deal; they had items that were normally $20-$40 on sale for $5-$10 and 60% off everything with no exceptions. So if you purchased an item that was normally $20 – $15 instant savings – $3 discount = $2. That comes out to 90% off retail.

Northern Tool

Sign up for their credit card to get $50 off any purchase of $50 or more. See page 1 of their ad. This offer is actually free since it doesn’t cost anything to sign up for a credit card. However, caution is strongly urged since signing up for a credit card can affect your credit score and carrying consumer debt is a certain step towards financial ruin. Credit Card Freebies.
