Black Friday is a great day to get freebies and some of the best freebies this year come from Macy’s. Their Black Friday 2019 ad list 13 items that are free after rebate. The images below are of the ad AND their rebate form. In order to maximize your freebies it helps to have information so this form will give you all the information you need to be sure that you can actually claim the deals that are available. Please just use these images for reference and return to this page when needed. Do not download these images; Macy’s will give you a copy if you simply ask, even if it’s not Black Friday (or Thursday) yet. For your own benefit it’s best to claim the freebies with an original form from Macy’s.
Here are a couple details to note:
“Complete this form and mail it . . . If you have multiple offers to submit, you must fill out a separate for each offer“. This means that you should request a copy of this form for every rebate that you plan on claiming.
“Enclose the original or a legible copy of your sales receipt“. This fine print allows you to photocopy your sales receipt to claim the freebie. Often rebates don’t allow photocopies, but to save on copying costs you can still ask Macy’s to print duplicate receipts or make each rebate purchase separately (but the people in line and the cashier probably won’t like that idea).
“Enclose the original or a legible copy of the UPC(s) from each product packaging“. Technically this fine print allows you to photocopy the bar code on the product packaging instead of damaging the packaging. Rebates don’t usually allow this because you can technically still take the product back if the bar code is still present. (I.E. You could purchase the product, claim the rebate and then get a refund, essentially getting paid to buy the product and return it). However, it is still more likely that the rebate will be fulfilled by mail if the original bar code is included.
Note from page 2 in the form that for some of the rebates you have more than one option which you can purchase but only one rebate will be fulfilled out of those options. Limit 1 rebate per offer number.
